Who says Family can't be chosen?

 This merged family is one that literally let me trudge them through mud and sat on a slippery hill for these photographs! I felt super guilty for what I put them through for that "perfect-shot", but they were content just to follow instructions. It was a cold day, and it had rained the night before; still they were a wonder to work with! 

 With new milestones like Kyle's move to highschool and Sam's move to college, these photos are truly memorable. Even when I got lost, and couldn't find the areas I wanted to capture of this forest's natural beauty, they were so patient with me. It was my second shoot in this particular area, and I have to say, it changes so quickly and drastically with the seasons.

                                       All in all, a fantastic day with wonderful clients!

Stacey, Bill & Kids

 It's always great to have repeat clients, but when they're your family too, it's all the better! I was SUPER excited to photograph Bill, Stacey, Shelby and Kiera as it was the absolute PERFECT natural lighting for a shoot that day!

 Even the cold, tiredness and dampness of the ground, these four were willing to let me direct them! The thing I L.O.V.E most about this particular shoot, is the amount of effort that went into coordinating outfits, and how amazing they looked together!

Little Shelby was the belle of the shoot, as she isn't camera shy... she actually loves to be the model! The greatest words to hear as a photographer are "take my picture!" and she certainly said that a lot! It was hard to stop taking pictures of her, as she posed easily and had so much fun showing me how photogenic she is! All in all, a great day and the photos turned out fantastic.

~My love, my life, and my future~

 Today my fiance, Charles, and I were the focal point to the shoot. My parents took direction with the camera and made BEAUTIFUL images for us. My mother's amazing at photography, and even assists me on shoots from time to time.

 It was weird for me to be in front of the lens, and for my camera-shy fiance, it was probably even moreso... but, we had a TON of fun embracing nature and delving into silly poses too. Of course there are the ones that you frame and put on your mantle (or in our case the wall), but we goofed off a bit.

I am truly blessed to have this man in my life. He was the first person to make me feel comfortable no matter the situation. He is the only person to  have instantly "gotten" me. He is my absolute best friend, the love of my life, and seriously my biggest supporter. I've never had someone in my life make me feel so wonderful! I'm so excited to become his wife, and honestly though we're young and some people think we're crazy--it works.

Cherish the Dress: Candice

 There's one thing for sure when I start a shoot with a woman in white, I KNOW she's looking her best. Cherish/Trash the dress shoots can be scary for someone who's spent oodles on a gorgeous gown, but for those brave souls, it can be well-worth it!

Candice put a whole lot of faith in me that day; from letting me choose her style of pictures, to letting me dip her Vera Wang wedding dress in murky water. She was a class-act TROOPER! I have immense respect for someone who can say "whatever you think" to a photographer in regards to her prized possession.

All in all, the photos were a great supplement to the beauty of the dress and the girl! We had SO much fun at Rock Glen in Arkona, Ontario. If you ever just want to site-see in a local and NATURAL place, this is for sure your next destination...just mark that one down on the check list! I can't wait until another beautiful bride puts her trust in me, and goes for it!

30 fingers, 30 toes, 3 hearts and 1 little nose...

 After a beautiful little man was born, this family has grown so much. Their LOVE is apparent.

 Recently, Nicole and Devon have decided to get married next May. This is incredible news!

Wonderful people, a beautiful story of love, and I can't help but grin from ear to ear when editing.

Young Love: Karli & Joel

 I've got to say, these two are CUTE! Young love is always so beautiful, and it was an honour to be a part of their engagement memories. My assistant (Marj Bice) and I were taken with how adorable Karli & Joel are together.

 It's apparent they love each other, with every touch and stolen kiss they share. It's always breathtaking to see the gleam in a bride-to-be's eyes, but what really captured us at Bice Photography was the way Joel (the groom-to-be) looked at her.

Their wedding will be next September, and I can't wait to be a part of it. Congratulations Karli & Joel!

Celebrations and Family Shoots

 Last weekend, I had an amazing time capturing photos for these beautiful families..my job is the BEST

 With cutie-pies like this, it was hard to wrap-up the shoots, and put away the camera. JUST SO CUTE

         Seriously, they made my job easy....with every snap of the shutter, my smile just grew
